We love teaching friends and family how to apply nail wraps. So on this post, we've gathered some of our favorite videos to teach our readers what we've learned.
We've split our list into videos about 100% Nail Polish Wraps and videos about Semi-Cured Gel Wraps.
What's the difference? 100% Nail Polish Wraps are made of nail polish and adhesive backing. They can be applied by simply sticking to the nail and filing off the excess. They do not require (or benefit from) exposure to the UV light from a UV Nail Lamp. They result in a thin application that resembles a traditional polish manicure.
Semi-cured gels, on the other hand, are made of partially-cured salon-quality gel nail polish. Picture a UV-gel manicure at a salon: they paint your nails with the gel polish, then stick your hands under a UV Nail Lamp to cure (harden) the polish. Now, imagine that a manufacturer paints strips, then sets them under a light until they're almost fully cured, but still a bit flexible. They sell them to you, and you finish the job, curing them completely with a UV Nail Lamp! They result in a hard, shiny, strong manicure like a salon gel.
